Education:
I went to Miami University in Middletown (aka MUM) directly after high school to pursue my bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising but didn't get very far because I had to take Chemistry which was a requirement and a subject that I just couldn't grasp nor did I enjoy. I remember struggling in Mrs. Kimble's class at LHS. Ugh! Why Chemistry for a fashion degree? Because of the synthetics of fabrics! For heaven's sake! Needless to say I left MUM after a year and started attending Sinclair in Dayton for secretarial/office management. I returned to MUM and graduated with my Associates Degree in Secretarial Science.

I have so many wonderful memories. Our great Warriors winning the MML in 1978 against Edgewood and my wonderful mom running across the field to congratulate Dan Fitzgerald and Jack Sayre. Loved the football games, pep rallies, bon fires and everything about the Warriors. Remembering the great basketball seasons when it was standing room only and the great "banana section." Driver's Ed with Coach Vandegrift was a hoot - driving in downtown Cincy in rush hour traffic - ugh! Going to the senior prom with George Henn and being voted "best dressed" alongside Mark Powell. Being teased all the time by certain guys! Yes, I was gullible and still am. Who can forget Harper Valley PTA and being able to get out of school to film? Ronny Cox (the actor) telling me I had nice handwriting. Working in the library during lunch time. Loved LHS and the great class of 1979!
