Paul Lynn Elam, 21 of South Lebanon died Dec. 23, at Lebanon. He attended Lebanon schools and is survived by his wife, Ardyth K. (Wooten) Elam whom he married Dec. 10.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his Father, Bruce Elam of Lebanon; his mother Mary Frances Casey; a stepfather, Paul Casey of South Lebanon with whom he and his wife resided; three brothers; Phillip L., Patrick L. and Prescott L. all of Lebanon; his maternal grandmother Scytha Marie Wilhoite of Waynesville; and paternal grandmother, Florence Elam of West Liberty, Ky; a nephew, six aunts and 19 cousins.

Burial was in Friendship Cemetery, South Lebanon.

Paul..beady eyes and a smirk always on his face. I understood. He was quiet to some, but not to all. We got along,......didnt expect him to leave us.

I didn't know.
We rode the bus together... shared a love of critters - he gave me gifts of a tadpole (who happily survived to froghood and lived in my goldfish pond for several years, I think), and a tiny garter snake that fit in a "Sucrets" box! Sweet kid. (in an ornery kind of way...) Valerie
